Vertical Shiplap Cladding on ventilated cavity
The Flexi House Show Home was built with Open Unitised Panels, allowing insulation and airtightness to occur onsite and reducing the extent of exterior finishing post-install, further de-risking weather delays or complex and remote sites. Vertical shiplap weatherboards fitted in the factory come together onsite and result in seamless construction.

Here are some frequently-asked-questions about what is achievable with the Flexi House Panel System.

Flexi House has developed our own Proprietry Panelised Construction System consiting of LVL* Framing and Plywood Diaphragm Bracing.

Panels up to 12m long x 3m high are possible, however the most econmonical sizes to freight are 6m long x 3m high.

Roof Panels can typically 6-7m in Extra-High & SED Wind Zones with no need for Truss’s, Steel Portals, or Ridge Beams.
Being an Engineered System using LVL Framing, we can achieve greater spans than NZS3604 typical schedule methods using SG8 Timber. Get in touch to find out more.
